Welcome to Treborough Cross Country Course
Welcome to Treborough Cross Country which is based in West Somerset and is a family run business built to cater for competition, training and for family fun riding.
Treborough Common enjoys spectacular views across Exmoor to South Wales and the Quantock Hills. Combining this with the old springy turf of the common and the all weather take-off and landing areas - an enjoyable experience is guaranteed in the driest of summers and the majority of winter months.
The wide variety of course jumps ranging from 18” up to a height of 3’6” have been built to a high professional standard to test all abilities and cater for beginners through to intermediate riders and horses. Each year we aim to extend the course and we have added new jumps in 2009.
The course is designed to provide a Schooling Area with a good range of practice fences including ditches and banks.
For Pony Clubs and Riding Clubs, as well as individuals, Treborough Cross Country can offer a complete service for all your training, eventing, competition and fun-day needs. This spring we are extending the course and adding more new jumps, some of which will be 3ft 6 inches in height. The course, weather permitting, is fully open again March 1st 2009. Those wishing to ‘’pop’’ over a few fences are more than welcome to ring and check course conditions. On a conservation note, our tree planting programme is going well and we are looking forward to warm spring weather.
Built by experienced professional course builder Richard Ayre.
