Treborough Cross Country - The Course

Treborough Cross Country - The Course

Treborough offers a wide selection of fences built to test all abilities for rider and horse. A variety of fences designed to encourage bold and safe jumping.
"Fences designed to encourage bold and safe jumping"

Fun for all the family, there are walks available for those who do not wish to ride. Picnics recommended!

The fences are designed and built by experienced professional BE course designer and builder Richard Ayre, well known throughout the West Country. Richard has built some of the most popular cross country courses in the South West and we are delighted to have Richard as part of our team.

The Ground
Old springy turf provides excellent going with all weather take off and landing.

Old springy turf providing excellent going even in the driest of summers and the majority of the winter months. All weather take off and landings, permanent and portable fences.

We believe it is important to provide training grounds which are of benefit to riders of all abilities - and who knows, even Olympic hopefuls!

The Course
OS Grid reference for the course is ST 005 355.

This spring we are extending the course and adding more new jumps, some of which will be 3ft 6 inches in height. The course, weather permitting, is fully open again March 1st 2009. Those wishing to ‘’pop’’ over a few fences are more than welcome to ring and check course conditions. On a conservation note, our tree planting programme is going well and we are looking forward to warm spring weather.
